ORIGINAL CAPE TALENT is a boutique casting agency based in Cape Town representing amateur actors, character and child models for TV commercials, photographic advertising, children’s catalogue work and film. The agency represents talent for both local and international clients.

ORIGINAL CAPE TALENT is owned and managed by Wendy Golding, herself a successful model in the 1980s. Wendy is involved in the daily running of the agency and is also an executive committee member of NAMA. She has represented child and character models for over 30 years.

Wendy has played a role in helping to establish guidelines for the use of child models in commercials and advertising. Many of these guidelines are now included in the Department of Labour’s sectoral determination for the employment of children in the commercial and entertainment industry in South Africa.

Cape Town is a popular destination for film and commercial crews from all over the world. The industry’s busiest time in Cape Town is from around October through to April. We are always looking for interesting new faces of all ages to present to our clients (see the “join our agency” tab). Original Cape Talent aims to provide a professional service to its models and clients alike.
